VANESSA HAGERBAUMER, EXECUTIVE COACH & LIFE COACHING
Has being good at what you do gotten in the way of being great at who you are?
To find joy, fulfillment, and success, I had to go off-script.
Hi, Iām Vanessa.
For years, I followed the script of what I thought success should look like, feeling behind what other people were achieving, and frantically focused on taking the ārightā steps at institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and WeWork.
Even though I was working hard and doing so much, deep down, I knew something was still missing.
When the opportunity for another promotion presented itself, instead of feeling elated, I was filled with dread.
That experience led me on a journey of self-discovery and experimentation. I reconnected with my desire to help others overcome their internal struggles and connect with their true values and priorities.
That's why I became an Executive Coach and founded V & CO, so I could help people like you break free from "the shoulds," rebalance your striving strategies, and create the life and career you truly want.
My guiding principles.
-
More yourself.
YOU are the only one that has has the answers ā no book, boss, mentor, or influencer is going to hand you your bow-wrapped truth. You need to decide how you want that to look ā but the good news is that Iāve been there and Iām here to help.

Life hands us an invisible script.
The pull of othersā expectations and what society says we āshould doā is real. But it doesnāt have to impact your choices: you can choose who to listen to (including yourself.)
-
You're meant to make an impact.
But you know this already. Impact doesnāt have to happen on a world-sized stage, itās exponential. Small, positive changes with your team, your family, or even just yourself create a huge ripple effect.
-
Change takes courage.
Itās normal and human to feel inertia in your current situation. Our brain has evolved to keep us safe, which often means staying the same. Change is, by definition, uncomfortable. But the results are worth it.
-
It's not about "doing more" or "leaning in."
Working harder doesnāt work. In fact itās a symptom of the larger problem. Instead, finding a new relationship to your thoughts and feelings leads to organic, inspired change.
-
You are creative, resourceful, and whole. Right now.
You already have the answers or can find the answers. Thereās nothing wrong. You simply want to take advantage of your innate ability to optimize your life.
